Project PRADIP aims towards adding new features every day to make the process easier and user friendly. Since the NTPC office has a vast number of employees varying across different offices in India, we are currently focusing on linking each feature with another. We hope to connect all the processes on a single platform for every department for smoother and better management. All of these processes aim towards saving time, money and manpower so that the important tasks can be executed within a set time frame.

While we are trying to go completely paperless in tendering process, initiating a PR has become easier than ever. Tendering process is based upon various requirements which vary across the departments. Each of these requirements can be easily attended through the PR process. Once the user completes the Purchase Requisition process in PRADIP and the PR is released, the user can further go ahead with the Tendering Process where he can link the PR (single or multiple) to the tender. After linking the PR, the dealing executive can either send the file for further reviewing or move ahead with the tendering process. The dealing executive can choose from the list of Tendering activities such as approval from Tendering Committee, Bid Extension, Technical Bid Opening, Tender Enquiry Approval etc. and finally move ahead for the PO.

Earlier raising a PR and getting it approved was a tedious task. With PRADIP, meeting requirements for different departments has become easier and faster. From manual process involving manual labor, the process has become digital saving time and energy. With PRADIP, each step from PR to PO can be done digitally. As the world is moving forward we have seen a lot of changes but interestingly digitalisation has been the biggest and most drastic change which has connected the whole humanity like never before. Life has become much more faster with a lot of information and tools at our disposal.

There is potential to communicate better, discuss and design ideas and proposals, connect with NTPC family digitally, work from anywhere; anytime, and even features that help us do self performance analysis.
